ABOUT MAJA LI HÄRDELIN
Maja Li Härdelin (b. 1989, Sweden) delves into intricate constructions of analogy. In her work the line between fiction and documentation is very blurry. Härdelin explorations make use of a variety of media, such as film, sculpture and performance. Within the exhibition space, they often extend to installations that juxtapose the familiar comfort of ordinary stuff, through highlighting slightly peculiar elements. The installations often reference everyday scenes subtly altered—like an out-of-place object or an unexpected sound—prompting contemplations of the hidden layers and histories that can be found within ordinary spaces, objects and relationships.

ABOUT PAUL HAAS
Paul Haas is a visual artist based between Frankfurt and Brussels. In his practice he is interested in the question of how inherited aesthetics and cultural habits shape the present. Mainly through the use of moving images, Haas’ work makes historically determined conditions tangible and challenges them. To this end, he uses both documentary and fictional techniques. Based on a research process that includes visits to archives, the examination of theoretical texts and interviews with historical subjects, he develops a network of information from which the artistic work subsequently emerges.

ABOUT MARIA MEINILD
Maria Meinild, a Danish/Swedish artist based in Copenhagen, explores social behavior and political undertones in everyday life through video installations, photography, and sculpture. Her work explores the socio-psychological interplay between objects, technology, and human beings, examining how these relationships shape systems of power, social dynamics, and surveillance mechanisms. Maria Meinild holds an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
