Home is a powerful place filled with bipolar feelings.
This is where we can relax, leave our public life for a while, be ugly and breathe out. Hide in our private shelter of dreams, smells and protective walls.
It is also a place for the opposite. The supposedly homely and friendly environment turning out to be a hiding place for something else. Home is filled with connotations of the unheimlich: atmospheres, relationships, emotions, expectations that you do not see, but feel and which hides under a calm surface of normal.
The exhibition opens Thursday 7th of July with a dinner event by Anna Walther and invites to a Vernissage on Friday 8th of July with a party and DJ performance by GLOBAL MC´s at 9pm. BYOB.
