Join us as artist Anette Harboe Flensburg and curator Birgitte Vase Agersnap present Bakkehuset’s new special exhibition Stone – Skeleton – Silhouette.
In the home of married couple Kamma and Knud Lyne Rahbek, the rational ideals of the Enlightment era coexisted with the Romantic enquiries of the Danish Golden Age. All seasoned with the antics of everyday life. This blend of life, science, and art is reflected in the methodology of artist Anette Harboe Flensburg.
Bakkehuset’s new special exhibition serves as a sort of laboratory where Anette Harboe Flensburg invites the audience to share her investigations into forms and materials, the natural and the artificial. It is laboratory filled with collections of stones and sculptures, boxes and words, and paintings in both miniature and large-scale formats.
