Författarcentrum Syd and Malmö Konstmuseum invite you to ART&TXT — a concept where the author event meets the art exhibition. This edition features a conversation with poet Merima Dizdarević in dialogue with the sound work This Feeling, Oceanic by Youmna Chlala. The conversation will be moderated by Lars Mogensen.
The conversation will take place from 12:00–13:00 in Kungsparken, in the clearing behind the former restaurant pavilion where Malmö Konstmuseum currently operates. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lunch and blanket. In case of bad weather, the event will be held indoors.
ART&TXT aims to explore what can happen in the meeting between contemporary art and literature. Can the experience of art be enriched by literature? Can literature grow through its encounter with art? Inspired by a current exhibition or artwork, a staged conversation is created that engages both with the surrounding environment and with a literary work.
