BLUE VOICES - A Poetic Atlas of the Sea is part of the exhibition series Water Stories, curated by
Lawrence Ebelle, where water is explored as both a condition of life and a narrative. The series opens

In BLUE VOICES, artist and sea and landscape architect Veronica Civa explores how a perceived distance to the sea can be bridged through sensory experience. Knowledge is not only communicated, but felt. The relationship takes shape through voices, presence, and curiosity, and the installation opens a space where experiences are shared and connections emerge. In Brønshøj Water Tower, the space is transformed into a sensory landscape, where voices, images, and sound unfold around the body. Visitors move through the installation, where each position opens new encounters between stories of the sea. The work brings together voices from people across ages and backgrounds, forming a living archive of our relationship with the sea. Here, it is not data that takes centre stage, but the sensed, the remembered, and the personal. The personal is not the starting point, but something that emerges in the encounter with the sea. Through short voice contributions, stories are woven into a landscape of voices, where the listener moves between past, present, and future.
