LIVE ART ZINE opened in 2025 as a center for live art. Live art is: “the invention and application of appropriate strategies to explore and communicate ideas” (Tim Etchells). Live art often draws on the artist’s own life and everyday experience.
We are interested in Danish and international artists who explore our shared reality and present their results and processes in innovative formats, experiments and live encounters with an audience.
We publish and distribute a hand-printed magazine quarterly, and each issue presents a set of recurring formats taking place in ZINE: performances, talks, games, and other live situations for all ages.
LIVE ART ZINE is run by Live Art Danmark, which curates and tours nationally and internationally since 2004.
