Billedserie – Gruppeudstilling på ODP3: Ghostly Remnants

Rooted in a desire to gather, or make sense of one’s fragmented self in the realm of the digital, the artists have chosen to weave their individual practices together in an ontological investigation of the body navigating today’s metaverses and the physical world. As curator and writer Legacy Russell posits in her manifesto glitch feminism (2020): One is not born, but rather becomes, a body². What if endless consumption of both natural resources and digital media leaves our bodies as mere ghostly remnants? Through the wielding of three materials, the artists ask: what does it mean to exist in multitudes, and what does tactility mean today?
