Udstillingen er en dybt personlig undersøgelse af depression, angst, sårbarhed og længslen efter livsmod – men samtidig også et håb om livsglæde, om kærligheden til én selv og om at ville livet.
Udstillingen præsenterer en række nye værker, hvor Overbeck forener sine minutiøse blyantstegninger med skulpturelle objekter og installationer. Han bevæger sig samtidig ud i nye materialemæssige og tekniske felter: fotofremkaldt afmaskning, elektroætsning på messing, magnetisk omrøring og mikroskopisk printet tekst er blandt de greb, der udvider værkernes visuelle og sanselige register.
