Gabriel Pereyra

If you could follow an edge and follow it quickly in Gabriel Pereyra’s paintings and sculptures, you would get that sense of rhythm and movement that you get in music. Gabriel Pereyra was born in 1968 in Argentina. He lives and has his studio in Copenhagen. He has studied art at the New York Art Students League. He is currently represented by the Blue Canvas Project.

Geometry is the guiding thread in Gabriel Pereyra’s work. The shapes and structures seek to engage in dialogue with the environment, establishing connections between the viewer and the space they inhabit. In “Here and Now,” the name of his upcoming exhibition on the paper island, geometry is not just an aesthetic aspect; it is a language that speaks of order, proportion, and the beauty inherent in simplicity.
