Over the course of an hour, you will move together through the neighbourhood—from space to space, from atmosphere to atmosphere. Along the way, Galleri 1,4 m3, C4 Projects, Tybo Art & Craft, Københavns Kunsthandel and SIC Cph open their doors, offering a glimpse into their distinct universes. Each stop includes a short, intimate introduction and the opportunity to experience art in a relaxed and vibrant setting.
But the experience doesn’t end there.

Along the way, you may encounter the Danish artist Mads Lynnerup moving through the streets with an oversized frame. In his performance Luft Kunsten, he temporarily “borrows” artworks from the walls and carries them into the public space. Art becomes mobile—alive—and you might meet it where you least expect it.

The walk culminates at SIC Cph, a new creative gathering point in Vesterbro. Here, the evening continues in a relaxed and festive atmosphere with pétanque in the garden, where artist and DJ Martha Hviid provides the music, alongside the showcase of the exhibition Sommersolhverv Salon, a tribute to the longest day of the year, the light, and those moments when time almost stands still.

Walk Towards Art is about opening doors, not only to art, but to the community around it. To conversations, curiosity, and unexpected encounters between people.
