Gain a new perspective on how barn buildings on Lolland and Falster can be transformed into spaces for contemporary art, as architecture students from the Royal Danish Academy’s ‘Helhed & Del’ program present sketches, models, and ideas from their latest case study. They have explored sustainable transformation by pairing selected buildings on Lolland-Falster with artworks of their own choosing – reimagining them as future Art Barns.
The exhibition offers a unique insight into how art, architecture, and landscape can be interwoven – seen through young, inquisitive eyes.
The exhibition is shown for one day only – Saturday, May 31st, from 10 to 17 – in the large white barn at Fuglsang Herregaard (right next to Fuglsang Art Museum).
Admission is free. Come and learn more about Art Barns – and see how buildings you may know can take on new life as settings for remarkable contemporary art. An opening reception will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
